We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the many lands on which the Lung Learning Hub and Lung Learning Framework were developed and acknowledge the many beautiful landscapes including Rivers, Mountains, Seas, and winds that blow over their ancestral lands which remains under their continual custodianship. We would also like to pay our respects to the Elders who have gone before us for their courage and bravery in laying a firm foundation, Elders who are currently with us for their wisdom and guidance in supporting the work we do and to future generations of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Leaders and to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Indigenous peoples.

About the artwork

Everyone has a role in helping patients breathe easier.

At the heart of this framework is the patient – their health and wellbeing. The patient’s needs, surrounded by their family and community are central to the story. Because of the extensive work that has been undertaken in the development of this framework, healthcare professionals will be better informed, have access to quality and trusted resources and training to guide them, support them and improve their patients’ health outcomes. Their competency is at the forefront.

And because of this framework, the patient will benefit from this continuous support throughout their entire health journey.
